Obama Launches Major Alinsky-Style Community Organizing Project From the White House

During his brief time as a community organizer in Chicago, Obama worked with others to achieve some basic improvements for an impoverished community, not that different from a neighborhood activist seeking improvements such as filling potholes or establishing a neighborhood watch program. The main difference is that Obama worked with poor black people, and help them empower themselves. Townhall and other conservatives see something sinister in this, but they are just exposing their own prejudices.

Projection of anti conservative bigotry.

Did you read the part about clothing yourself in phony moral high ground, while blaming others for the problems the poor are facing?
Is this too deep for you, or are you fighting through the handicap of an education from one of California's secular seminaries?

so remind us again marxist, exactly where in the windy city your lord and savior did anything to improve the neighborhoods he used to [push his political career. His one big campaign was to remove the asbestos from one building, which was never done

and the crime rate in the same neighborhood is still at epidemic levels

teaching blacks to play the role of permanent victim is hardly an accomplishment

but then again losers like you always whine about America while your party has only made more parasites reliant on the govt teat

perhaps you have an excuse why under your messiah, food stamps and welfare are the only growth industries for the parasite class

You liberals have done nothing for blacks. I know first hand. You do your best to keep them in the dark and lie to them.

Tell me idiot, why the number one cause for death for black males under age 30 is murder? Why are record numbers of blacks unemployed and one public assistance? Why do 70% of black kids never finish high school and those who do read at an 8th grade level on average. And why do you celebrate the fact that 85% of black kids grow up in a single parent home.

You exploit blacks.

They don't just exploit blacks, they exploit every minority
alphonsejones Wrote: Jan 18, 2013 10:46 PM
blacks have long chosen to be exploited. They continue to believe they are permanent wards of the govt

and now with his re-election the race hustlers are wondering when the hussein will start the reparation payments for their loyalty at the voting booth

It seems you are right alphonse - but I don't believe this is what they want. As young adults they do have dreams and stuff....they just get kept down by the system. It's very sad. It's the culture. I feel badly for the way the liberals use the blacks. Yes, the blacks accept it for the "security"of gov money.

I don't celebrate people of any race growing up in single parent homes -- and there are plenty of white kids in the same condition -- but I also do not dismiss the possibility that they can still be raised well.

"Obama worked with others to achieve some basic improvements for an impoverished community"

Like what? Higher taxes and larger government?

Face it prog, Chicago is a marxist hellhole BECAUSE of Obama and his beliefs.

It's easy to belittle Barack Obama for being a community organizer, but he's the one who got the last laugh on November 6, 2012. Community organizing is key to not only winning a campaign but changing a country, which is exactly what the Obama's plan to do moving forward. Today Michelle Obama helped launch President Obama's "Organizing for Action," a massive community organizing project geared towards pushing through Obama's second term agenda and changing how voters think about issues for the long term.

"Say you're in for the next phase of this grassroots movement."
