"When a communist assassinated President Kennedy, somehow the American right got the blame. Lyndon Johnson translated that myth into a campaign of slander against Barry Goldwater, casting him as a crypto-Nazi emissary of "'hate.'" First of all, no one accused Goldwater of being a "crypto-Nazi emissary of hate." The main concerns raised about Goldwater were that he might get us into a nuclear war, at a time when tensions were high, and that he opposed the Civil Rights Act. Among those on the left who promoted outlandish conspiracy theories on the assassination of President kennedy, some claimed Lyndon Johnson was involved but Goldwater was never mentioned.
Amy, if it was discovered a vendor was selling weapons to the army with inscriptions from your religion, Townhall and Fox would demand that these inscriptions be removed

"Two handguns and a BB gun that the authorities believe the brothers used in an earlier shootout with officers in Watertown were also recovered, said one official briefed on the investigation." A BB gun?
Reading. writing, math, logic, Latin plus one other foreign language, history and science
Actually "begun" is correct in the above sentence.. How can CC push Algebra off to 9th or 10th grade for students with the ability to study it in 8th grade? What coercive powers do they have? When I was in high school in the 60s, most students studied Algebra in the 9th grade, Geometry in 10th grade, Algebra 3 and Trigonometry in 11th grade and Mathematical Analysis in 12th grade. Some started with Geometry in 9th grade, finishing with Calculus in 12th grade; while others took a took a two-year Algebra program in 9th and 10th grade; or refresher mathematics in 9th grade followed by the two year Algebra program.
"Did I tell you they are getting rid of Algebra in middle school? Really, they are. ' I doubt it, even if that is part of this program it is not going to happen. It seems to me the testing program begun under the Bush administration is federalization of education.

Why not wait until the dust settles and the FBI comes out with its report and any more arrests rather than jumping to conclusions based on anonymous sources?
