Maybe Minorities' Values Need Changing

They have already changed their values to please old white men, just that those men are called senator, professor, journalist, etc. to the values of race, class and gender that Dennis mentions. And the bigger point that Dennis brings up, which is lost on some, is that values are not "white" or "socioeconomic" or anything of the sort, they are universal. The traditional values of liberty, industriousness, American-ness benefit "everyone" while looking at life through the lens of race, class and gender hurts everyone. The good

Did Chris Matthews admit that MSNBC is not a news organization but a bunch to leftist talking heads? Did he just admit their bias? Did he admit they have an agenda to get at Romney? Did he just admit they are nothing but a Democrat party extension? Seems to me he did.

'Bait and Switch' Taxes

Not according to Obama. For him, it is a person being given by permission of the goverment, that his Mr. O himself (the rest of us call that earning but of course we all know that really is theft of the unfortunate of society), to have more that $250,000 per year. Why? Because someone could also have millions in the back but only have an income of $10/year. He is not taxing their wealth. Of couse, somone could also earn $1 million a year and spend it all and not be a millionare, correct?
Can you define the MIDDLE CLASS? Who are they? I had an interesting recent conversation with my father, a public sector, unioned, fire fighter. He had an interesting observation. Per his memory, when he was young, a middle class guy might be the dude who ran a construction company who pulls a personal yearly inccome of $600K in today's dollars and belongs to a country club. It might also be the dude who works for that guy making $60K a year. It would be the bank executive making $500K a year and the teller he hires making $50K. Rich, was someone living on a estate or in a Madison Avenue type multi-million dollar appartments and with 100 foot yachts. Who are the Middle Class today?

First Jobs

I believe that is support is due to how some union jobs are pegged against the mininum wage. As the mininum wage increases, so do the wages of some worker. Who would not support getting more money. It has nothing to do with helping the poor or unemployed; it's about unions helping themselves to more money.
