Oops. My mistake. The Attorney General is aware that intent is irrelevant. He also makes a strong case for prosecution to the fullest extent of the law, citing MSNBC's informed and willful disregard for that law. He presents no reasoning supporting failure to prosecute. In the end, he just decides that he won't do his job if it involves applying the law to his buddies.

Well, we saw this one coming. It's been nearly a month since NBC's Meet the Press host David Gregory illegally possessed a 30-round ammunition magazine on national television during an interview with NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre. During the interview, Gregory made it clear he supports a ban on high capacity magazines.
