"Equalitocracy" is going into my standard vocabulary forthwith!

While private school vouchers sound like a good idea - and in a perfect world it would be - I believe that the program would only destroy the last good schools left in the country.

Think of it this way, once a private school begins accepting vouchers what's to stop the government from attaching strings (teaching what they in the government want taught) to the money.

Faced with taking the money and selling its soul or possible closure I fear many if not most of the schools would bow to the government just to stay open.
