There are so many flaws in Pat's arguments here, I don't know where to begin. But I'll spare everyone my ramblings and just say what I feel.

The problem that I, an educated and professional African-American man, see with the topic of race in this country is this: When a minority claims discrimination or raises some concerns about possible racism, we are accused of playing the race card, even when it's totally legitimate. Basically, the argument is marginalized by using that blanket statement.
