That's because conservatives like you won't support him, donate to his campaign, or work for his re-election. I live in MA. Republicans like Brown are the best you can hope for. All Republicans who got elected to statewide office have been moderates: Romney, Weld, Cellucci, Brown. MA is heavily pro-choice on abortion, and a pro-life candidate has no chance to win statewide office here. None. So yes, if you want to just write off the state, then don't complain when Brown's loss to Warren keeps the GOP from winning control of the Senate.

I’m now beginning to think that the Boston Globe poll released on Monday was probably an outlier:
