Oh GOP campaigners! That you would follow Ron Paul's example and promise cutting of Federal Spending and abolishing the income and death taxes. I salute Romney's promise to eliminate the death tax, though. Now if he promises to end the Federal Reserve...

If he promises to end the Fed, or he actually proposes a budget that balances in 4 years or less, then I'd vote for him. But indications are that he plans to continue the status quo big spending government with deficits and debt forever. Paul Ryan's plan doesn't even balance the budget (which means debt continues to increase) until 2040.

Funny you should mention that. I ive in Utah and while they claim to be conservative, they are only when it's good for their pocketbooks, and the moneymen here control it all, including government. HWat do I mean? Take illegals for one; they're allowed because the money wants the cheap labor. Why?? More money in their pockets; not the good of the people of the state. I'd say from my experience less than 10% are true conservatives. You know, like don't spend more than you have, keep the laws, and work for your goals which BTW doesn't include being the wage earned for four other families. They're a new order of socialist RINOs.

All Romney has to do is get a law passed, or in the style of the current president, sign an executive order that will impose draconian fines (like the EPA does) to employers who hire illegals. When employers find it is prohibitively expensive to hire them, they will stop. Of course the Democrat will call these employers 'racists', but so what? Illegal is still illegal.
I wrote last year about a backlash from long-suffering Greek taxpayers. These people – the ones pulling the wagon rather than riding in the wagon – are being raped and pillaged by a political class that is trying to protect the greedy interest groups that benefit from Greece’s bloated public sector.

We now have another group of taxpayers who are fighting back against greedy government. My ancestors in Ireland have decided that enough is enough and there is widespread civil disobedience against a new property tax.

Here are the key details from an...
