If the Florida Senate race is close, and stays that way, what barometric reading does it offer? As a Texan I propose that the GOP's course will be set when Rick Perry truncates Kay Bailey Hutchison's wayward career in November, 2010, with a Texas sized whuppin' that reverberates across the country. The GOP weather vane has been setup in the state that has the most legitimate claim to model the way forward, economically. That would be Texas.
