Obama Can't Even Throw Like a Girl

Being in the Nationals territory I get their games on MASN. Around the second inning, His Highness showed up in the broadcast booth. One of the announcers, Rob Dibble, chided him about putting on a White Sox cap before throwing the first "pitch". Obama says that, well, you know, he's a "South Side Boy" from Chicago and all. So then he is asked who his favorite White Sox player was.

He proceeded to filibuster for almost 3 minutes without ever answering the question. 3 minutes isn't that long, but ask me who my favorite Yankee was growing up and I'll say "Mickey Mantle", less than one second. It was pretty clear that Obama has no idea who plays/played for the White Sox, and he was cornered, so he does what politicians do, he BS'd...

iCarly is such an innocent show in comparison. The kids are as close to 60's sit-com type characters as I've seen in years. And it's funny as hell, too, with nary a fart joke in sight.

Too bad they'll eventually get to the age where they, too, will be presenting their own "very special episodes".
Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, I saw a commercial the other day for a product whose name I forget and hope to never remember. In it, a young boy heads to the bathroom. His father asks him what he's doing and he says "Going potty". He seemed way too old to be "going potty" but that's a whole other can of worms. Anyway, the father asks him if he needs help and the kid says "Nope, I'm good" and locks the door.

Inside the bathroom he spreads a towel on the floor, sits down, pulls out a pocket sized tv and proceeds to watch television. The "punchline" of the commercial was "When you need some private time", like this kid needs to lock himself in the bathroom to watch TV!?! Please let this product die the death.
...787 billion dollars, divided by a decent salary of $40,000, comes out to 19 million jobs, more than enough to give every unemployed person, plus about 5 million illegals, good paying jobs until the economy "recovers" in a year. Of course, if you really believe the economy is going to recover in a year, then you'll believe that the govt. has our best interests at heart.

he didn't bankrupt America. America has been bankrupt since the day we started borrowing money just to pay the interest on our debt. He is merely making our debt even more insurmountable.
