You bring up a good point about black employment but it seems that you are argueing that the blacks aren't getting these nice paying jobs at all and that is why there is more poverty now. I think the real reason for this is that back in the 60's the black family was much stronger. Most kids had 2 parents and now most are born out of wedlock. You make the point that team owners, head coaches, university presidents and athletic directors are overwhelmingly white males and there is something inherently wrong with this picture. Great column Dr. Williams. You hit on some great points and there are many more. Most of us aren't scientists so as you dig deeper into the science it becomes harder to understand.
