I'm afraid you're wrong man. Although he was not an habitual criminal, had a criminal record and was denied the ability to buy his own weapon when he tried to do so. You're right though, his mother was very concerned about him and considering an institution. He could not have obtained a license if one was required. All that being said, the government has already been allowed to infringe on our 2nd Amendment Rights since 1934. Allowing them to incrementally go any further than they already have managed, is out of the question now. No more regulations of any kind, to make people feel better about Sandy Hook.

During a Sun News Network segment on guns, Canadian anchor Brian Lilley issued a warning to Americans: “Registration will lead to confiscation. And if you don’t believe me, just look at what’s happened here.”

One of the gun-control proposals put forth in America is a national database for all firearms to track the movement and sale of weapons. If this comes to fruition, Lilley argues, it will lead to confiscation. He then proceeds to discuss what happened in Canada with their national long-gun registry, which ultimately led to law abiding citizens having their weapons confiscated.
