Another reason why we should extricate ourselves from this mess of chum called the UN. There is no sound or sand reason as to WHY we have to put ourselves under their mantle...everything they do is with the end in mind being their control of our internal workings.Their importance is zip, their relevance vto us is less than zip. Make the member states pony up and pay the rent for their luxurious digs, and office building, and stop allowing the delegates to break our laws and slime theoir way out of it by calling it "diplomatic immunity".. The city of New York, as much as I despise their government, could take all the money the delegates owe them in traffic fines and such, and give some relief to their own citizens, through tax cuts...

So, about that $85 billion in sequester money... why don't we just start pulling some of our funding from the United Nations? As the world knows by now, Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez finally died this week after a long battle with cancer and a recent re-election riddled with fraud. Despite terrible living conditions in the country and Chavez' confiscation of private property on demand, the UN Human Rights Council paid tribute to him yesterday. More from CNSNews:
