Kinda like Bill Clinton in England? One big difference. Mormon missionaries are required to provide their own way, pay for their own food and clothes and lodging. No taxpayers money involved at all...Wonder why so many LDS missionaries ride bikes around? Cause they aren't rich, and it helps make ends meet. I am not a Mormon but I really admire their ways of practicing their religion.I met Romney;s dad while in Vietnam, visiting us at Christmas time..I believe George Romney became one of the Council of 12, or whatever they call their hierarchy..that being said,,Mitt in France is a lot different than Bill Clinton in England..and for entirely different reasons. Bill was dodging the draft at the taxpayer's expense..Mitt was being LDS male.

A well-regarded Republican strategist at a private gathering recently warned, "And just wait until they play that Mormon card." By "they," he meant the Obama campaign and its complicit media cheerleaders.

Lawrence O'Donnell, only days later, gave his viewers a historical tutorial on the Mormon religion, darkly suggesting that we all should be afraid, very afraid. The Democratic governor of Montana, Brian Schweitzer, called Mitt Romney's grandfather a "polygamist."

This is actually good news for the Romney campaign.

By making Romney's Mormonism an issue, the Obama campaign has, as trial lawyers like to say, "reopened" the issue...
