Agreed - no reason access to web for education seems like a given. Not worried about access - plenty of ways to control what content is seen. The bigger point is - who cares? What difference will it make in the quality of education in America, as a whole? That's right...none. Silly subject for editorial. Perhaps start with teaching kids to read, write, and do math - without all the politically correct or progressive pet subject matter. Figure out how to do that - with or without broadband access - and then we can discuss these moot subjects.
