Jan. 2009. Losing 800,000 jobs per month. Since the stimulus took effect, we’ve gained over 4 million jobs. Jan. 2009. Dow Jones around 6500. Today, around 13,000. It’s simply a lie to say that “Obama destroyed the economy.” He clearly did not. If anything has slowed the recovery, it has been GOP obstructionism.

Team Romney: "It's Time to Vet the President"

Yeah. We’re far worse off now. I mean, when he took office, we were losing 800,000 jobs a month and now we’ve gained over 4 million...oh, wait a minute. Well, the Dow was 6500 and is now 13,000...oh, wait... Well...he’s just wrecking the economy! It was better when we were bleeding jobs and no one questioned Wall Street.

Obama and the Internate

WOW. He makes an error on a vowel and ONE SECOND LATER CORRECTS HIMSELF and that’s news? Now, explain Palin’s ‘Paul Revere’ story, or Michele Bachmann thinking Lexington/Concord was in New Hampshire (written into a speech and said twice). Making a story out of this is worse than giving oxygen to O’Keefe’s garbage.
I still can’t come up with anything Obama has done to “wreck the economy” as it’s put here. I mean, the stimulus certainly didn’t wreck the economy. We’ve gained over 4 million jobs, when we were losing 750,000/month when he took office. Health Reform makes right-wing business people nervous, but the CBO says it’ll reduce the deficit. Wall Street Reform? I don’t know...Republicans have done a good job of slow-walking all of that. So, what exactly has Obama signed that “wrecked the economy?” And since we’re heading in the opposite direction we were heading in when Obama took office, which is that we’re GROWING, how can one really say that anything he has done has “wrecked the economy?"

Video: Romney's Best Speech Yet

“Best speech yet?” Usually, that language is reserved for people who’ve already HAD a good speech or two. LIke “Tom Hanks, in his best performance yet!” Maybe what distinguished today from other days is that his lies were more blatant - an air of desperation around him, as he took Obama’s comments totally out of context and allowed his audience to believe something that just wasn’t true. Maybe “best yet” means “best lies to date.” Today’s right-wing relishes good lies. And that’s too bad.
Just watch ‘Mr. Smith Goes to Washington’ to see how the filibuster should work.

GOD! Okay. For the sane...read the following article and watch some of the UNedited footage. Amazing that so many on the right take these fraudsters seriously. Truly amazing. http://mediamatters.org/blog/2012/07/18/james-okeefe-fails-to-find-a-scandal-union-and/187215
Isn’t it ironic that O’Keefe is the only criminal he has “exposed?"
Perhaps what the CBO says on the matter would be good to know: http://www.cbpp.org/cms/index.cfm?fa=view&id=3241
