That's nonsense, few actually treat the works of any economist as dogma. Those ideas at any rate were never "implemented", they were just what people did when they were free. You perceive dogmatism because those economic ideals are based on less government and more freedom . . . which I trust you realize go far, far, beyond economics. They more closely reflect the freedoms outlined in the Constitution. The two cannot be separated, when the government can seize one persons assets, the can and do (look around the world or in history) take anyone's assets.

But whatever specific name you go by, Bob, you know who you are. You're the sort of person who says to his conservative friends or co-workers something like, "I would totally vote for Republicans if they could just give up on these crazy social issues."
