Other unilateral and unlawful actions we can add to the list would include directing the EPA to treat carbon dioxide as a pollutant after (at the time, the Democrat controlled) Congress failed to pass his cap-and-trade legislation, the bailouts of GM and Chrysler after Congress voted (twice as I recall) not to authorize such funds, and finally, totally circumventing existing bankruptcy laws to award a high ownershop stake in GM to the unions.

The unelected EPA's new policies will take 12% of the county's electrical power output (coal) offline in 2013, to be replaced by nothing. Impact to energy prices will be devastating to the economy and painful to the citizen. The Democrat party's objective to downsizing America. This is not the Democrat party of FDR or JFK, but one populated by enemies of the United States (Liberals, Progressives, Aethists, Soclialsts, Marxists, Communists, Globalists, Environmentalists, Islamists, etc).

There are some very serious issues at stake in this year's election -- so many that some people may not be able to see the forest for the trees. Individual issues are the trees, but the forest is the future of America as we have known it.

The America that has flourished for more than two centuries is being quietly but steadily dismantled by the Obama administration, during the process of dealing with particular issues.
