I don't watch TV... 99% of the time its just a waste of time. In this case I listened to her speech at the convention via radio. It was a solid speech with good conservative values... I'll bet that the folks in Utah heard it the same way. Suddenly, it's a big deal that she is black and we all loose sight of the fact that her values and ideals are the conservative values and ideals that we all wish our candidates had... ridiculous. She is a great candidate that will do well for the folks in Utah - wish my state could come up with a candidate that was of her caliber.

Even if Mitt Romney's subsequent poll bounce was negligible, another candidate took off like a rocket after the Republican National Convention.  Utah Congressional candidate Mia Love -- a heavy underdog at the campaign's onset -- has galvanized major support in the wake of her national showcase on the convention's opening night.  In a dramatic change, a new poll now shows Love opening up a significant lead over incumbent Democrat Jim Matheson:
