Snookems: A person cannot be born a Christian, as it is not same as being a certain race or gender. A person becomes a Christian by choice. Parents may send their children to religious schools, but the child may not accept the school's teachings. People can be forced to observe Christian traditions, but they cannot be forcibly "converted". And yes, examples of this exist throughout history. But in order to truly become a Christian, one must choose it freely. Belief is in the mind of the believer, not in the observance of rituals.

Florida officials have ordered a partial recount in the race between Republican Allen West and his challenger Democrat Patrick Murphy. As we reported yesterday, there was over 100% turnout in several precincts in St. Lucie County, Florida. The election officials in that county announced late yesterday that there would be an emergency meeting Sunday morning at 7 AM.

It turns out this emergency meeting was set up to recount the ballots cast during early voting. It is estimated that roughly 37,000 early ballots were cast.
