I am a nurse who works with premature infants. Each day after leaving a 13 hour shift using the latest research, technology, drugs, equipment and specialized nutrition to help the preemies grow to the 40 week mark with minimal disability, I pass a Planned Parenthood location. I have never been able to understand why my patients receive excellent care to help them grow and stay alive, when down the street from the hospital, babies of the same gestation are killed just because they are unwanted.

Stacey I am a Respiratory Therapist x 34 years and I work primarily with Premies in NICUS and I echo your sentiments. The insanity and pure evil of these people is unreal. They dont want to see echos or have clients see them. Why? Because many times they refuse the abortion- that alone shows the degree of evil and denial-dont bother me with the facts.

why don't you ask the women who choose to abort instead of a misogynist blog like TH?

We're used to MSNBC's Toure saying outlandish things, but his latest commentary in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade is by far the worst. During a segment last week, Toure went on what he called an abortion rant in which he thanked God and country abortion was there to "save him" at a time when taking care of a baby and becoming a father would have been inconvenient for him. He also refers to abortion as a "safety net."
