My point if it was not for that freedom to develop the M16 the AK would have been ruling in more countries before the fall of the Berlin Wall, for that we have Mrs Thatcher and Ronald Reagan to thank for that. You must continue to keep semi-auto firearms in private hands, someone will pick one up one day and say what if you did this to it? and it will be a ground breaking adjustment. The British army rifle was designed by a bunch of people who knew nothing about firearms and is a heap of rubbish, that is why our Elite forces carry M16 M4 formats.

By now, we’ve heard the argument about semi-automatic "assault" rifles: nobody needs one. We’ve heard the only reason why someone would obtain this kind of weapon is so they can kill people, which is far from the truth.
