Felons voting?? Umm, when a convicted felon is finished with his sentence, his civil rights are restored and that is fair. Felons who have served their time need to reintegrate into normal society. That is in the best interest of all of us.

"fair". The first word out of a whiner.

Really? According to who? You?

Felons who "served their time" (a sentence that may have been artificially shortened) have not yet proven they're going to stay on the lawful path,so they don't warrant having their full rights restored.

Having restricted voting and RKBA rights doesn't make them return to a life of crime or violence,either.
"Oh,I can't vote or own a gun,so I'm going to rob a store or beat up someone and put them in the hospital" is not a valid premise.

there ARE consequences to committing felonies.

ssc:
1) If a convicted felon is sentenced to do time in prison and to pay a fine, we would not argue that he is exempt from paying the fine after he gets out from prison or that he needs not go to prison if he pays off the fine first. The prison sentence and fine are separate consequences following upon his conviction. Likewise, loss of certain civil rights is a consequence that follows upon conviction of felony and has nothing to do with whether the convict goes to, or has been, in jail.
2) Even granting that "felons who have served their time need to reintegrate into normal society," why should their voting rights be restored? Upon getting out of jail, they need a job, not a voter ID.

most released felons never make restitution to their victims or the survivors as ordered by the courts.

She's talking about them voting while still in prison.

How about all those Dems that vote from the grave?

4 states allow felons to vote while they are in prison
18 allow felons to vote while they are on parole; and
21 allow them to vote while on probation
Only 10 states permanently disenfranchise all felons and another handful do so to some ex-offenders or restore the ability to vote after a time limit

Not if they vote Democrat, it's not.

They were likely Democrats before they went in.

I believe all prisoners are card carrying Democrats with the possible exception of Bernie Maddoff (sic).

Before taking the oath of office, Barack Obama vowed to fundamentally transform the United States. He has certainly done so. For example, Obama has:

-- destroyed the job market;

-- sent billions of taxpayer dollars to Wall Street, companies overseas, his campaign contributors and public sector unions;

-- forced the passage of a wildly unpopular national health care law on a purely partisan vote;

-- come out for gay marriage;

-- refused to enforce laws on illegal immigration;

-- eliminated the work requirement for welfare.

How can a country that elected Ronald Reagan have Obama tied in the polls with Mitt...
