No one have a problem that the author defends an Ad by Govt Motors? Whatever its message, I rooting for GM to go out of business for good.
I'm first to jump in but Ron Paul did not create the Tea Party. There is cross-over but Libertarians did not made any effort to bring Tea Party sentiments into their party. That being said, turn the 'L' into a 'l' and yes they are very similar.

Jimmy Fallon, Democrat Political Asset

Doctor X is right. NBS, Fallon can do whatever they want. But if the ratings don't hold up, we'll see what happens. If they do and win the 18-35 demo, good for them. As for a Dem bash that is funny - Red Eye does a good job and Gutfeld is one to watch.

The Lesson of Dunkirk

Mr. Sowell as all of us will attest, we absolutely respect your views, read you religiously. But those Brits could have stayed at Dunkirk and been killed. It was brave their civilians saved them but the English would still have won the war - with the US. The US won WWII. The Repubs may be the Brits on Dunkirk- and it'll be the Tea Party who will win the war with/without those casualties. In war, losses are expected- and we won't win with the likes of McCain, Boehner etc. I'm not getting my private boat to go save the likes of them. But Mr. Sowell has the right idea- it is a war and we know what is at stake- we argue tactics and who shall lead us. Mr. Sowell will always remain a leader.
says he is baffled that Steyer has chosen to fight "over something symbolic" that won't really have an impact on climate change. They're not stupid. It is far from symbolic. They stop Keystone they have a victory. Victory leads to power. Do you think the Dems minded no child left behind or McCain support of finance reform? No it advanced their agenda and the Rs helped.
Yes indeed! Unite! Drug program. Campaign finance laws. Romneycare. Are you serious Mr. Hunter?

Cruz Control? Part II

I'm finding Sowell's comments in the case ambiguous. He's long believed that any R is better than a D but Rs have argued poorly for their positions. Those Rs have had their time. Tom Delay, the Hammer, is a politics I no longer trust. Or Karl Rove who helped bring about 'compassionate conservatism' and the constant re-branding as not to upset the MSM. Enough already. But fair warning, Ted Cruz is a politician- and unlike Dems we ought not trust him either. Actions, my friends, actions.

This was a great blast from the past. We got Obama instead and right now in an alternative reality I'd pick Hiliary too. I mean there some of us who hate McCain that much.
a debt yes; but how long will we deserve them?
I thought this is as good a place as any to defend the DMV - with the ability to get appointments etc I've had positive experiences for years now [besides Fez works there - the Futon]
