Really this is amnesty for you? Helping the prospects of America by improving the conditions on the lot of immigrant Americans. "Illegal", don't you forget what lands were robbed before we go about indicting criminals according to government land laws. IT IS NOT HUMANE. And not wanting the prospects of future America for children of immigrants only widens the trenches between the rich and the poor. That is not American patriotism, THAT IS NOT HUMAN.

"...for children of immigrants..."

sramirez, take a breath. You are very difficult to understand.
But whatever your point is, I reject your assertion that ANYONE is against the children of immigrants. In fact, I don't think it's fair to say that anyone is against the children of illegal immigrants. But illegal immigrants, including their children, have to go home. If they continue to be interested in coming to the United States for jobs, or even to stay and become citizens, they need to use the legal procedures to do so.
Why is that even controversial? It's been pointed out that Mexico is difficult to emigrate to, and illegals are treated harshly under Mexican law. Isn't that a little inconsistent?

The folks who passed through Ellis Island, for example, were LEGAL immigrants. We must also consider why Mexico, for example, blessed with a wonderful climate and abundant in natural resourses, has never realized it's potential.

Why aren't these people of strong enough resolve to stay, and improve their OWN nation to greatness? It sure doesn't say much for their character.......No guts/no glory!

So if I lose my house because I lost my job, I can camp in your yard and live as a squatter because I think it is humane?
"Mr. President, why do you favor foreign workers over Americans?" That was the obvious question Barack Obama refused to answer when a reporter, doing his job, sought an answer, rather than a canned teleprompter presentation.

That is, indeed, the question that begs for an answer. And Obama simply wouldn't answer that question, not in the middle of his remarks or at the end of his statement or at any other time.

Obama announced Friday afternoon that he would grant amnesty to 800,000 young illegal aliens, instead of deporting them, as the law requires. No, he didn't call it amnesty; he denied it was...
