A person or a party that spends an inordinate amount of time worrying about what color another's skin is is truly a racist entity. Couple that with their spending time being offended on behalf of someone else and you border on institutional insanity. Finally, add to that the results of this study, which coincidentally points out something most of us have known for years, and you how foreign their thought process is. Notice that when a liberal begins to speak about conservatives, they launch almost immediately into personal attacks, rather that continuing the conversation. Right away, conservative viewpoints are 'radical', 'risky', and 'fringe' while the speaker himself is a 'wing-nut', a 'far right' something, or simply 'racist'
New research out notes that self-identified liberals are indeed more liberal - with the ignore and block buttons on social media platforms when it comes to arguments they disagree with.

As Zeke Miller finds in ORI's presentation, "liberals were significantly more likely to have blocked someone than conservatives," and specifically, they block people "because of their political views."
