20 Reasons To Dislike The Democrat Party

Every (historical) declaration made in this article is true and supported by published facts. The remainder are opinions, which is what this blog is about. As to the idiot Jondm, below ("None of the men you love to pillory iled us into an unjust war that cost thousands of lives and countless trillions of dollars like the war criminals you support"); I would point out - Wilson, WW1; Truman, Korea; Johnson, Vietnam; Obama, Afghanistan (a truly just war? Remember). Won't mention that your beloved FTR denied permission for the Jews to immigrate to the US in the late 30's.
A liberal by any other name is still a liberal, or possibly a political wh*re that will sell his soul for the next vote. Chris Christie is not now, nor has he ever been a conservative other than in the sense that he was more conservatively liberal than many. Yes, let's ban the 50 caliber sniper rifle because so many innocent Americans have fallen victim to them.(?) Forget logic, forget sanity, forget common sense (that slogan much bandied about by liberals, but never employed). Let's just DO SOMETHING VISUAL. Then we can get re-elected and forget about the problem. Reminds me of Lyndon Johnson and his war on poverty. Let's try that again, shall we? Oh, wait, it never ended! More poor keep cropping up. Almost like people were born poor, no?

Deception Part of North Korea War Plan

Can resist a political slam, huh? Ponder me this; what party affiliation was the President of the United States when we entered WW1? WW2? Korea? Vietnam? I'd call Iraq and Afghanistan a flat draw, at this point, included even tho' we weren't "at war" or conducting a "police action."
Nicely put. McCain should have gone quietly into that political good night after his embarrassing run for president. Now he has become another of the old man club, sitting comfortably in his overstuffed leather chair in the lounge and pontificating on how it was "back in his day." We are not in "his day," and the d*amned republican establishment had better come to grips with it. The American people are not going to elect Yet-Another-Bush, nor are they going to elect the second place, runner up from last seasons primary "because it's his turn." I don't know about you but I want PRINCIPLES, I want intellectual INTEGRITY, I want HONESTY, I want an elected official that cares about AMERICA and the CONSTITUTION. Make of that what you will!
When ever I hear a legislator say something like "common sense ideas," I cringe. What he means is the same thing Obama always means; "I'm going to do it my way," and by implication "You are an idiot if you don't think the same way I do." Here is some common sense for you - * If you feel the need to "do something" about a situation, try thinking first. * If there is complete grid lock on an issue - maybe you shouldn't have started the negotiation with "my demands are off the table." * Instead of spending millions traveling around the country, campaigning on an issue and trying to get voters to sway congress - why don't you stay in town and be a part of the negotiation? * If ... shucks, I ran out of space....
As a law enforcement official with over 39 years of service, I applaud these companies and call on Glock, S&W, Colt and others to adhere to the same policy. I do not support the pandering Chief's of Police nor their political masters in this matter. They have once again placed themselves above the law and feel no restraint in matters that should be wholly within the public purview and jurisdiction.
A person or a party that spends an inordinate amount of time worrying about what color another's skin is is truly a racist entity. Couple that with their spending time being offended on behalf of someone else and you border on institutional insanity. Finally, add to that the results of this study, which coincidentally points out something most of us have known for years, and you how foreign their thought process is. Notice that when a liberal begins to speak about conservatives, they launch almost immediately into personal attacks, rather that continuing the conversation. Right away, conservative viewpoints are 'radical', 'risky', and 'fringe' while the speaker himself is a 'wing-nut', a 'far right' something, or simply 'racist'
So they want to kill all the NRA members? Without guns how are the anonymous cowards going to do it? Bore us to death? Call in the Union to beat us up? Have Obama talk to us so we understand, causing mass suicide?
If you judge 225 year old behavior by today's standards, yes they would be judged sexist. Of course, they would be considered normal by the current standards of the middle East and some Asian countries. Not even someone as blissfully ignorant as you can fail to realize that morality and standards are, at best, situational concepts related to a society's present day mores. Democrats, for instance, formed the KKK and voted virtually en bloc against the 1964 civil rights act. Unions demanded a rise in minimum pay because it would keep "them damned darkies out." The gratuitous use of drugs was universally condemned until liberals realize how "cool" it was to go to work and drive a car while stoned. Were Democrats and unions bigots? .
Oh, my gawd. Move out of the way? Like for two years the Democrats owned the government and during that time they fixed everything? Incredible. So, let's see; we're 16 Trillion in debt with an increase of more than 1 Trillion every year and your solution is to raise taxes on the rich, netting 82 billion a year. The First's newest 'secret' plan is to raise over 4 Trillion in new taxes - over....10 years. Shucks, it only took him 3 to spend that much. All of this makes as much sense as blaming Bush for Katrina when every official from the chief of police to the governor of LA was Democratic and the failed infrastructure was from the Johnson years. If that darned Bush had only gotten out of the way, things would have been so much better.
