Catholic Capitalist Replies to the Pope

the Pope's words and John's reply both ignore the real problem. They pretend that there are only 2 economic systems in modern civilization: Socialism and Capitalist free-markets. The reality is that there is a 3rd system: Corporatism. Socialists see it and mistakenly think it is capitalism. Capitalists see the same Corporatism and mistakenly call it socialism. Until we all explicitly articulate each of the 3 economic systems, we cannot communicate effectively. We mis-understand each other.

Corporatism--historically exemplified in Mussolini's Italy and Hitler's Germany. Its seeds were gradually planted in America from the end of the Civil War through the Wilson administration, and then began to sprout in the Hoover and FDR administrations. Since then, it's never been particularly identified or challenged in America until the present administration. I have said more than once that those who think Obama's a Communist are mistaken. He is a National Socialist.

Excuse me, but a point of clarification:
In Corporatism, the actual power is vested in those who run private corporations, and corrupt governments acquiesce in their actions.
In Mussolini's and Hitler's Fascist regimes, the actual power was vested in government bureaucracies, and the various corporations were controlled as puppets of the regime. This can be seen in the Obama regime's control of health care insurance - dictating policies, coverage, price, profit, etc.
