Jay, this is the situation in my state too. But i's easy to become informed about judicial candidates -- and candidates for any other office which does not list candidacies by party -- by visiting relevant Voter Guides online. Both major parties publish them, as do a wide variety of civic organizations and interest groups.

Shame on you, Mr. Jacoby! It may not be a CIVIC duty to vote, but it is certainly a moral one.

Stuart, conservatives ALREADY have black candidates...just not a PRESIDENTIAL candidate right now. You might want to learn more about Congressional candidates Allen West, Mia Love, Tim Scott, Brian K. Hill, Wayne Winsley, E.W. Jackson, Vernon Parker, Michael Williams, and Robert Allen Mansfield...let alone the many fine black conservatives running for county and municipal office!

Harold: Matthews could go to Man's Country and get his leg-thrills from Rahm Emmanuel instead.

dahni: I usually loathe him too, but I must admit that his small role in the Matthew Broderick/Nathan Lane film version of "The Producers" was a true shining moment in comedy. Even if you don't like Ferrell's performance, the rest of the film is a delight.

Chris: But it's okay to punish the (inadvertently) pregnant woman for the unforgivable sin of having been attacked? How very Christian of you.

Stuart: Bravo. I wish there were a lot more REASONABLE conservatives like you on this board!

kcalcut: I'm in California too -- SO not by choice! -- but PLEASE don't stay home just because Obama will surely carry this state. After all, we have numerous state, county, and local candidates and issues to vote on, some of which we might just win!

ROTFL @ Nam65!!!! Thanks, I needed that :)
So, you have like 17 kids? Or did you and that "masculine male" of yours just stop having sex altogether after the first two or three years? Sheesh, grich, good conservative women have nothing against birth control (unless they're practicing Catholics, which is a whole different issue). Responsible birth control is how good conservative women make sure they don't have more children than they can afford while still maintaining the healthy long-term sex life necessary to a healthy long-term monogamous marriage.
