MSNBC Host: If Adam Lanza Killed Black Kids We Probably Wouldn’t Be Talking About Guns

In 2008 1371 black children were killed by guns and 1488 white children were killed with guns. There you are Mr LaPierre, pretty bad stuff. Unfortunately, we can't stop the violence by talking about guns. We CAN stop the violence by changing the culture.

Yep, but is this administration looking at that? No, they are wasting time, effort and a boat load of money chasing the tool and not the "culture". But then, this used to be a God centered nation, and you could leave your house unlocked and walk down the street after dark. Only difference between then and now is America has turned it's back on God, and this is now what we get for that. WE selected this culture through "tolerance' of devient behavior. Now we have to live with it, or change it back to a God centered society. Only two choices. Quite simple really.

Who pulled the trigger, how many lives were saved?
Specious Rule Wrote: Feb 17, 2013 12:12 AM
Are you saying that lives were saved because these children were killed?

Please clarify...

I'm saying how many lives have been saved by guns?

Who would keep a positive stat about guns? I'm gonna search jstor and see if I can find anything in the databases about that. Only way is if an economist wrote a paper on the subject. The other social sciences couldn't get away with a pro gun paper.

Lets not even talk about lives saved when we have a culture that wants to kill literaly millions of babies every year! Your "concern" falls on deaf ears!!! You want to save lives?? Stop abortion!!!

That MSNBC host would be the one and only Touré who was responding to a section in Wayne LaPierre’s recent article on The Daily Caller. The NRA chief was discussing the various reasons law-abiding citizens need a firearm, including after a natural disaster.

“After Hurricane Sandy, we saw the hellish world that the gun prohibitionists see as their utopia. Looters ran wild in south Brooklyn. There was no food, water or electricity. And if you wanted to walk several miles to get supplies, you better get back before dark, or you might not get home at all.”
