I don't like bossy people, male or female. "The situation is, after all, simple. When a man calls you bossy, tell him he's right -- and he should get you a cup of coffee." Let me switch a couple of words and see what that sound like: "The situation is, after all, simple. When a woman calls you bossy, tell her she's right -- and she should get you a cup of coffee." Get the picture?

Obama's a 'Colossal Sick Joke'

"Obama was chosen because..." Well, I see it like this: A quote from a Thomas Sowell piece: Upon learning that the Constitution requires a president to be a natural born citizen, a college student said: "What makes a natural born citizen any more qualified than one born by C-section?" The sole reason Obama won his first campaign for president is because all the clueless of this mentality, who usually don't vote, came out in droves to make a social statement by electing our first "black" president, giving Obama, a man who had fewer leadership skills and business experience than an assistant manager at McDonald’s, the margin needed to win. And as Coulter pointed out, it was elderly black women who gave him his second administration. Obama is the personification of amateur.
Thanks for your comment DoctorX. You are the personification of exactly what Carson wrote about.

Some peoples choose to rise above their history, instead of dwelling, or even drowning in it.

What legacy of slavery are you referring to? There is a nation that was raped, pillaged and enslaved for over 200 years, and as a consequence, that nations people never amounted to anything they were so humiliated and down trodden. Never invented anything, never had a flourishing economy, no global or even regional influence or even a powerful military. You know who those people were? Slaves of the dreaded Romans. The English, as well as many of their European neighbors.

Reminds me of Chavez opening free medical depots in the slums of Venezuela. Yep, the poor, uneducated slum dwellers got a little medical care, and Chavez got their votes, but at the end of the day, the were still poor, uneducated slum dwellers. Now if they were educated, they just might be able to see past that little scam.
