There is nothing in the existing bill guaranteeing the borders will be secured. Nothing guaranteeing that small business owners who employ most illegals will be punished. The bill has no teeth. The bill is amnesty, plain and simple.
There is no way to secure the border completely. What needs to be done is reduce the incentive to come across the border in the first place. If we enforced our existing laws and fined everyone who hires illegals, soon no one would hire them. There would be no incentive for those who come here to work to make money. An estimated 15-20% of those who come across the border do so to lead a life of crime. If we removed the incentive to come here and work, Border patrol and ICE agents would then, using what resources they have now, be able to patrol the borders and go after all the illegals that come here for the sole reason of living a life of crime. Did you catch this: "If we enforced our existing laws..." Obviously we are not a country that lives by the rule of law.

The Amnesty Mob vs. America

Don't believe this is intentional: "After America said no to a pork-filled security-undermining amnesty bill in 2007, the No Illegal Alien Left Behind lobbyists changed their overtly thuggish tactics. They put down their upside-down American flags, stopped wearing their commie Che Guevara T-shirts and cloaked their radical "Aztlan" aspirations in the less divisive rhetoric of "reform" and "opportunity." “We need to avoid a white backlash by using codes understood by Latinos…non-Latinos aren’t watching, they aren’t raising questions”–Fernando Guerra, professor, Loyola Marymount Hispanics know exactly what they are doing. This is war and they're fighting in a clandestine manner.

The Loss of Trust

And there in lies the biggest problem. Far too many Americans are weak and lack the fortitude to deal with the inconvenience of living in fear of a terrorist attack like in Boston than the inconveniences of losing some of their liberty.
Regarding the NSA and Snowden issue: “If it’s true that 200 million Americans phone calls were monitored, in terms of not listening to what they said but to whom they spoke and who spoke to them -- I don't know, the Congress should investigate this.” “This idea that no court will review, no Congress will know and we’re going to trust the president and the vice president of the United States, that they’re doing the right thing, don’t count me in on that.” - Sen. Joe Biden, 2006, regarding phone records collected during the Bush administration.
"But wallowing in the past is never an answer to anyone’s personal challenges. The challenge is clarifying right from wrong and acting accordingly moving forward." Words that need to be repeated often.

The Immigration “Crisis” Is No Crisis

Liberals want the illegals to come out of the shadows. They could care less about Americans who are living in the shadows, unemployed for extended periods and those living in the edge of the shadows under-employed. Liberals are walking bundles of contradictions.
It's not just about the total votes, but the electoral votes. California and Florida both have large Hispanic populations and New York is primarily lefty-looney liberals anyway. Whoever controls the electoral votes from those 3 states has a strong chance of winning the Presidency.
Ayotte qualifies to be a liberal, having now met the requirement of being a walking bundle of contradictions.
The Dem/Libs, if in control, simply will not fund any of these measures. The border will not be secured. They promised it last time and didn't deliver. Just say NO to amnesty.
