I don't find it all that hard to believe that humans can have an effect on climate, since we are able to leverage technologies that have far greater impact than we do as individuals. That said, though, I do believe there are natural cycles and other things in play, too. There are simply too many variables to be able to declare that humans do or do not cause any climate change. Suggesting that Sandy was the result of humans is just as bad as saying humans have no impact at all. Looking at the skies over LA on a hot summer day can show you the human impact of the urban heat island, which is a small bit of climate change on a micro level. I'm waiting for more real evidence and not buying into the political junk surrounding this issue.

Can anyone give me one (1) name of a scientist who says there is global warming CAUSED by human behavior WHO WILL NOT MONETARILY BENEFIT FROM MORE GOVERNMENT MONEY BEING SPENT ON THIS IDIOCY?
I will only trust the analysis of weather from someone who has studied weather events all their lives AND who will not benefit from a conclusion either way. I believe the Weather Channel offers an analysis by two men who meet such a description; Joe D'Aleo and Joe Bastardi. BOTH these truly reliable and neutral scientist have emphatically stated that there is NO CONNECTION between global warming (or "any other weather related event") and the actions of human industrialization. I quote again from Joe Bastardi on November 2, "Al Gore is an idiot".

That's like waiting to see if your boat will sink, because...........well because I can't see the hole below the floorboards and there is only a small amount of water around my ankles at the moment.

Dear Comrade Jindra,

OK, so now liberals are worried about the deficit? And you guys are lecturing the rest of us about fiscal responsibility and how money is created?

Typical tough talk from a group that can’t even pass a budget, yet alone balance one.

Here’s a good idea: Have your messiah present a plan to Congress that balances...
