Excuse me? New York, Illinois, New Jersey, & California are red states? New Jersey WAS, but like Virginia, it's problems are rapidly being reversed. Everywhere there are large populations of liberals, there is rampant poverty in this nation.
Wrong. Like it or not, we ARE the world's police. No one else will do the job. And history has proven TWICE that small conflicts ignored can quickly escalate into global wars. Then the casualties REALLY rack up. Just ask any WWII vet.
I've been listening to Russell Simmons on Hannity tonight. His opinion EMPHASIZES all the more why those on the left simply don't get it regarding the right to bear arms. Simmons claim: We've killed 200,000 innocent Iraqis. 1. First of all, that number is ridiculous and completely unsubstantiated. 2. Secondly, those Iraqis were hardly "innocent". 3. During the initial Gulf War, those who were killed were supporting Saddam's invasion of Kuwait. The air war separated the peaceful from the malicious... many surrendered to our forces or abandoned their posts long before the closing days. a. In fact, the vast majority who were slaughtered during the closing days were the ones that STAYED in Kuwait, raping and murdering and stealing...

You don't debate that. You continue to take the high road, while continuing to emphasize what the liberals are doing. MSNBC is a perfect example of the first amendment working. Those who use free speech IRRESPONSIBLY are role models, even if they don't realize it. In this case, they are a BAD role model, and 90 percent of voters get that.

They're destroying themselves... just look at how their efforts worked in the last election. As long as liberal policies fail, no amount of support from the MSM will sustain them. If someone I disagree with is doing an excellent job of discrediting themselves, I'm darned well not going to open my mouth.
Why doesn't the left focus on the REAL problem? Namely the sheer, unbelievable non-stop violence portrayed on television, the movies, & video games???????? What's worse, an intense political debate or watching someone get tortured to death by a television show's "serial killer of the week"???

Apparently the Democrat solution for poor people who can't afford to buy a house is to saddle them with an enormous burden of debt and increasing interest costs that they can never pay back. Still scratching my head trying to figure out specifically how that "helps" poor people.

Critics of our Lord Jesus Christ have been dying off for over 2,000 years. His message will always outlast and overpower theirs.

I too continually wonder why all of these ultra-rich celebrities don't voluntarily pony up more than the IRS requires. If they TRULY think government can do a better job distributing their money, you would think that the IRS would be at the TOP of their charity list. But no... campaigns, activist organizations, luxurious extras, and trouble making in general seem to be their favorite expense preferences. If you truly think you're being taxed too much, send whatever is making you feel guilty to the IRS. Millions (or even billions) of additional revenue will certainly encourage DC to spend wisely... or perhaps not.
Those party "traitors" are up for reelection in 2012. They're the only ones that have read the writing on the wall.
