Scumbag is more apt a word when describing Nasty Newt of the Nineties.
Whether or not ObamaCare gets ruled unconstitutional, Romney stands on the best grounds to go toe to toe with Obama in a Presidential debate. After Obama expresses disbelief that Romney could be against ObamaCare since it’s so similar to RomneyCare, Mitt could retort: “You keep saying the law was crafted after ours in Massachusetts, but neither you, nor any Democratic leaders in congress (Pelosi/Reid) even so much as gave me a call or asked my opinion about what was working and what wasn’t. If you’re going to use something as a template, common sense says that you do your due diligence in assuring that the template is adequate and functional. If you were using my law as a template, why did you never contact me to discuss it?”

RomneyCare was sanctioned by the conservative Heritage Foundation, while ObamaCare wasn't. RomneyCare is per the 10th Amendment, while ObamaCare may be unconstitutional.
Coulter is right. Even the dumb democrats know Romney is the only threat to their MESSiah. As for Santorum, he's a mini-Newt - liberal voting record and lobbying. http://teapartywdc.ning.com/profiles/blogs/santorum-s-nightmarish-voting-record
Once a nominee is selected the GOP voters will go out in full force to vote, as will the Independents. Folks want a change with the rotten economy brought on by the democrats.
The DNC is spending millions on anti-Romney ads in Florida and they had Dems vote in the open primary in South Carolina. Gingrich won by 75k votes, while 850k voters voted for Obama last round. All you need is less than 10% of Obama voters to walk in and ask for a Dem ticket and vote for Gingrich as anti-Romney for Obama. Gingrich would not have won S.C. if not for this. Florida is a closed primary, so Mitt will win bi there. They even have the Latinos on board with it, telling them Gingrich is pro-amnesty as a motivator. http://tucsoncitizen.com/hispanic-politico/2012/01/19/anybody-but-romney-latino-democrats-and-latino-independents-urged-to-vote-in-numerous-state-open-primaries/
Then we saw Gingrich saying that Romney is anti-immigration, which is a lie. Romney is for upholding the law on it. He's pro-legal immigration, but anti-illegal immigration. We need that because it will help level the playing field in business. It's not fair for company A to be honest, paying at least minimum wage, taxes, EDD, Worker's Comp., Holiday Pay, everything as per the law, while company B doesn't. Romney also wants to level the playing field with business between countries like China. This is a good thing having somebody in there who knows business and won't have the Solyndra wool pulled over his eyes.
