In response to:

Make the Democrats Own the Obama Economy

This is a fun and emotionally satisfying idea to think about, but this strategy could go very wrong for Republicans. We need to remember that FDR was elected 4 times with similar economic thinking to Obama's. I have never seen a poll on this but I would suspect that if you asked Americans even today about the Great Depression a large majority would say (wrongly I believe) that Hoover (think Bush) caused it and FDR (think Obama) led us out of it. Sadly, the idea that Obama will EVER be held accountable for the economy he presides over is not born out by history.

We need to fight the Democrats on all fronts to minimize their damage to the cause of liberty while teaching the public and winning more people to our side. The good news is we have the truth on our side...the bad news is for now we are the minority. We should model ourselves (strategically) after the Christian Church...send out courageous kind-hearted "missionaries" to the most depraved parts of our society to tell people the TRUTH and WIN CONVERTS.

Only problem will be what happened to some of the missionaries. They will be eaten. Liberals don't want the truth, it makes their head hurt. They want something they can believe in no matter how unplausible. Ask them about their electric cars, they will tell you it is best for the environment because they don't use fossil fuels. They think the electricity to charge the battery is magic and uses no fossil fuels. It does not count against their carbon foot print.

We need to fight tooth and nail for freedom and liberty for ourselves and our posterity. We need politicians and others to TEACH the public economics in a way that they will understand how these issues impact their lives. Finaly, we need to try to minimize the damage caused by the Democrats over the next 4 years. The hard reality is that most Americans (and certainly the MSM) will NEVER blame Obama for this economy that he and his party largely created. The good news is that we have the truth on our side, the bad news is we are the minority. We need to WIN PEOPLE OVER to our side.

We are the majority, but too many Americans are brainwashed, and too many dead people voted.

One bright spot of Barack Obama's re-election was knowing that unemployment rates were about to soar for the precise groups that voted for him -- young people, unskilled workers and single women with degrees in gender studies. But now the Democrats are sullying my silver lining by forcing Republicans to block an utterly pointless tax-raising scheme in order to blame the coming economic Armageddon on them.

Democrats are proposing to reinstate the Bush tax cuts for everyone ... except "the rich." (Why do only tax cuts come with an expiration date? Why not tax increases? Why not...
