The downgrade was becuase Dems, who controlled the Whitehouse and both houses of congress refused to pass a budget for more than TWO years. If they had passed budgets the two previous years, we would have never gotten to that point in the first place. Go away.

I fault President Bush for one thing only; not pushing forcefully enough for reforms at Fannie and Freddie. Remember, those two quasi government entities are the biggest cogs in the wheel of our current financial disaster. They were SUPPOSED TO BE WATCHED by Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, two democrats who assured us that there were no problems right up to the melt down.

Here's an idea. How about they take the race card out of the deck, rip it into a million pieces, burn it, then bury the ashes. It has survived entirely too long.
