I'd like to see someone ask President Obama the question "If the Affordable Healthcare Act is so good for America, why did so many unions get waivers to not participate in it?" Naturally, Congress is also exempt. And where does this relatively small pool think cutting edge research & new techniques are going to come from if doctors' decisions are controlled by the 15-member appointed committee? Right now, patients themselves pay for treatment considered experimental, and everyone benefits from it as a result. It seems quite self-serving & convenient for government & unions who encouraged & expedited its passage to declare themselves exempt. Something's rotten in Denmark.
