In light of this article, only one conclusion can be drawn; voters did not know or did not care about these looming taxes. What a sad day! Probably two or three pages of the ACA got everyone excited--but there are about 900 pages that--once people learn about them--they are NOT going to like them. That warnings were not heeded of the perils of our national debt, wasted spending, stimulus money to union pensions & other cronies, broken promises to heal the divide & work across party lines, and here we are--with the admonition coming from some that Republicans now need to think about how to win elections like the one that just occurred.

President Barack Obama won re-election Tuesday which means the United States is in the same exact fiscal situation it was in on Monday. We’re staring at $16 trillion in debt, but the more immediate problem comes on January 1 when every family will see a tax increase of $3500 as the Obama-Bush tax cuts expire and when more ObamaCare taxes kick in, better known as taxmaggedon.

First, let’s start with the first tax increase of $3500. This will happen if House Republicans, Senate Democrats and the White House can’t come up with a deal in the next 63 days....
