Let's not be too hard on Maxine, Sure, she's so crooked she can't lay/lie straight in bed, but she DID supervise the Watts riots and terrorize Asian shopkeepers! She is a spectacular stupid and crooked Dumbocrat but you have to admire her bone-crushing style. She flauts her flamboyantly ugly (that's Coyote ugly!) puss with new levels of increasingly churlish chutzpah. Coyote ugly is when your misfortune has you waking from an all-nighter somehow in bed with her and you chew off your arm and escape without daring to awake her! But hey! We don't want to get personal, eh?
