You should look in the mirror to see the lost cause. Take some courses in economics and learn things that you don't know. This country was founded on individual liberty taking care of people that can't help being in bad shape and not the ones that choose to take the easy road.

We need to get back to defending our country instead of the world along with reducing the size of our gov't and quit spending so much money.

But you're laughing at yourself because the US:

a) IS and monetary sovereign

b) IS the richest country in the world

That's not a "worldview" - them is just the facts.

Uh no bro. All the evidence is available. You're what I consider a lost cause. Your worldview is what it is. Who am I to try and change it. I'd rather laugh at you. And wish you the best of course,

Too illiterate to understand it I suppose... and too brainwashed by nutter propaganda to even try...

Yikes, we're headed toward a fiscal cliff! It will crush the economy! Or so the media and politicians tell us.

The "cliff" is a series of tax increases and budget cuts that automatically go into effect Jan. 1 unless Congress acts.

Will Congress act?

It will! I see the future: The politicians will meet and fret and hold press conferences and predict disaster. Then they'll reach a deal.

It will just postpone the reckoning, but they'll congratulate themselves, and the media will move on.

America, however, continues to go broke.

"They're not going to admit that we're bankrupt, and they won't...
