listen tool, have a thought not a talking point and maybe we can have a discussion. Are there bad rights to off set the left sure, but your party is anti-american ours is just not as good at it as we should be. example: GWB tried to rein in fanny & freddie before the collapse and the liberals beat him to chit preying on the fears of the poor and threatening lawsuits to banks that tried to be fiscally responsible, nothing changed and we saw how that ended. Now tell me how either party looks good doing that? If you guys play bait & switch like you did to Reagan and GHWB why do you expect it to ever happen again?

also notice how you don't address my points other than your make believe world about what cause the crisis. Fair tax? Promising spending cuts for tax raises?

but to your point, GWB 1300 white collar financial convictions, Clinton 1000, obama zero 0 zilch nada

now lets be honest, you may not like my party or me yours, but this guy is beyond his depth

Why are you acting as if only the whites are rich or engage in shady dealings to get rich?

In a fashion it is the fault of those poor who went after loans that they couldn't afford.
If anyone can't afford a house payment then that should be obvious to the most casual observer. I doubt the banks would have given those loans without federal government pressure to do so.

fanny & freddie were Dodd & Franks private banks along with bid party donor executives that came through for largesse. They had a 2-3% edge on private firms with a US gov't implied backing and then the liberal congresses applied pressure to private banks to get on board. So they did what entrepeuniers do they figured a way to make money in the climate. If only the liberal utopia would have been unending then the theory was solvent, both as we know weren't. The over extension was noticed in time by GW's people but pelosi/ried were having none of it. Continue to hide your head in the sand and claim my side is good for all it will do you when the producers do as requested and quit.

Listen, tool, fanny and freddie were tools to BOTH parties. But, more to the point, freddie and Fanny were only the tips of the 2008/9 financial collapse. Those lousy mortgages only accounted for 3% of the money lost. The rest was caused by investment banks, bank holding companies, insurance companies, etc. bundling those toxic mortgages in fraudulent financial instruments. THOSE are what caused the disaster, and those were de-regulated under George W. Bush's watch. His SEC didn't catch the real criminals. Stop blaming poor people for the disaster when it was corrupt wealthy white guys who created the real problems....tool.

totally agree with 2nd point to Amy's response, invoke the fair tax now with no deductions other then a stipend to the most poor in this country and seniors that paid into the system and now pay higher taxes at point of sale
Mother Jones has obtained and released video of Mitt Romney saying some things that Americans and the media will no doubt take uncharitably.

There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to...
