Finite oil is based on it being a fossil fuel. It is very likely NOT a fossil fuel but rather forms deep in the earth on a continuous basis. Plus, methane can be created from many sources, not just the NG wells. So switching to NG would mean we can make our own fuel. And just because we have plenty does not mean no one is looking for other fuels. It's not true everyone sits around doing nothing until the fuel runs out. Maybe many people find that easy to believe because they cannot plan ahead, but there are always very smart businessmen looking for new ideas to bring to market. The market value of a new fuel with nearly unlimited supply would be a huge score, oil or no oil.

The bats should be so lucky to be deafened. The turbines explode their lungs (due to pressure changes) and kill them. It's gruesome. Then all the bugs and mosquitoes the bats would have eaten thrive. Then we need more insecticide or suffer crop losses. Green is much more cruel and damaging than it claims.

Except where the roads are two-tracks and there is no maintenance. Not all roads are built and maintained by society as a whole.

Actually, it seems many blogs don't allow the word CR**. I'm not sure why. Maybe because like the list of TV shows endorsed by the writer, individual preferences vary widely. Flashpoint was hardly suitable for children, "V" was a mediocre scifi show and "Seinfeld" was just plain dumb. However, have anyone list their preferences and you'll get different rankings from all. What is fit TV is very open to interpretation.

Actually, for now, the sage grouse plan in Wyoming has had a chilling effect on placement of wind plants. While there is some monkeying around with area boundaries to favor development, there is also the realization that if sage grouse core areas are not preserved, the Feds may show up. How long this will last is hard to say.
