The last sentence is key. What if they don't want this? What if they don't want to pay a fine and back taxes and legit taxes moving forward? Will they still get free medical care and education? Will there still be sanctuary cities to protect them? Will ICE actually start enforcing the current laws on hand? What about college tuition? With today's staggering unemployment numbers, why are we trying to allow ILLEGAL immigrants a chance to work here? The motives behind this bill are so transparent, Democrats want a new block of voters, and Republicans think this will win sway with a new block of voters. Once again, Republican leadership is willing to sell out their country in a mistaken bid for re-election. Enough already.
