You do that. It'll mean Hillary by a landslide not seen since the second Reagan campaign.

Obama Targets Americans At The Pump

The author of the article fails to explain how the production of natural gas (methane or no methane) has anything at all to do with the price of gasoline at the pump. There is no connection. He simply wants to tie the new upcoming EPA rules to the latest news and something most Americans care about. Notice too, the habitual reference to "small business." The so-called "small" businesses as defined by conservatives often end up having well over a thousand employees. That hardly fits the image most Americans have of a mom and pop gas station (or filling station as we used to call them). This sounds like a writer with a deadline and not the vaguest idea what to write about, blindly operating in an anti-government, anti-administration, anti-Obama mode simply to appeal to a narrow conservative readership. Can't you people see when you're being pandered to?

The more the economy improves, the less Democratic "distancing" you're going to see. We're seeing it already to some degree but before the year is over, "distancing" will be a moot point. Everyone loves a winner...except Republicans, I guess.

Actually, the person who wrote that speech IS the president. A president is the sum total of those advisors with whom he surrounds himself. The man himself is simply their guiding force.

Obama is president today because of people like you who have consistently underestimated him--just ask McCain, or Hillary or Romney. If he were the doofus you seem to think, you'd have nothing to worry about.

Indication from those at the White House seem to suggests a tendency toward some pretty heavy editing on the president's part, though the speech goes through so many permutations over several weeks, it's hard to precisely assign a percentage as to authorship.

I'd say Obama looked pretty feisty, myself. It's all a matter of ideological perception. You see what you WANT to see. The GOP runs on about a lame duck president but they sure sound upset when he doesn't behave like one. Not being up for re-election nor caring who succeeds you give a president a certain sense of liberating freedom to go after his opposition with no holds barred.

Life is not fair, but it can be fair-er, which is the whole point of what the President is trying to do. It's no sin to have a minimum wage job. What IS sinful is to be paid slave wages for doing it. A minimum wage that doesn't rise with the cost of living is slavery, even Romney recognized that.

Don't stereotype people. In doing so it stereotypes YOU.

Those here on this forum are so into denial you wouldn't recognize honesty if it bit your big toe.
