The control freaks of the LEFT are just clueless. The head of a religious group should be religious and believe in the tenents of that group. I don't think any atheists would be interested in even being IN a Christian group, much less be one of its leaders. Groups exist for a reason. Most are created to provide a place for like minded people to get together in a safe place to discuss and share their common beliefs. Would the University allow a person known to be hostile to Homosexuality to join and try to lead a pro gay/lesbian/transgendered group? The LEFT is nothing but a bunch of juvenile, stuck in adolescence control freaks.
Tufts University, a private school in Massachusetts, has now officially ceased to be a university. Tufts has a national reputation for heavy handed suppression of free speech despite its close proximity to places where many of our nation's first great free speech victories were fought and won. Few who are familiar with Tufts will be surprised to learn that their student government has initiated measures to de-recognize a Christian group because its leaders are required to adhere to "basic Biblical truths of Christianity."
