There is nothing dishonest about any of them. Each of the points mentioned shoots holes in idiology spouted by liberal groups and individuals. And yes I know I misspelled idiology because it is actually a combination if idiot and ideology.

9) You don't have a "right" to anything that other people have to pay to provide for you. AMEN!!! You don't have a right to anything except life, liberty and to be protected from having things that you own taken away from you with no due process. You don't have a right to health care. You don't have a right to free food, free shelter, free medicine, free contraceptives, free abortions, free transportation or free internet. If someone has to work to make something, you have no right to it. If you make it, then it is yours and you can keep it. If you want to live under communism, go to China, Vietnam or Cuba. Don't try to change this country because communism has destroyed the very wealth that you are trying to distribute. It is great until you run out of other people;s money.

10) If we can ask people to present an ID to buy alcohol, drive a car, or get on an airplane, then asking them to present identification to vote is a no-brainer. There is NO argument that can be offered for why presenting a photo ID to vote is discriminatory or an undue burden that has any legitimacy. Any excuse offered is immediately rendered idiotic based on the first sentence. We have to prevent fraud in order to legitimize voting itself. If the results are skewed or manipulated, what is the point? You have destroyed the process and brought about tyranny.

The wall of separation was to keep government from interfering with religion, not the other way around. It was to keep one religion from being able to use government to discriminate against other religions, i.e. persecute Catholics, or Jews, or Mormons, or other denominations or beliefs. Some of the earliest government expenditures was paying for printing Bibles. Our founders knew and some even said out loud that the government they had formed could only survive with a moral and educated people. They are being proved right.

Unfortunately, most liberals will probably agree with #1 and that is why they are trying to marginalize the founding fathers, calling them racist old white men who established a government for the white elites. They want the Constitution destroyed because it was created by these old white racist slave holders.

We used to support prayer in public, were proud of Boy Scouts and the moral values taught in that organization. A scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent. Is there anything in any of these that is undesirable? On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty, to God and my country, to obey the scout law, to help other people at all times, to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight. Honor, duty, responsibility, yeah all that stuff is old fashioned now. I weep for my country. God, please forgive us.

We are told that it hurts the feelings of people from other countries to wave our flag, cheer for our country and be proud of our accomplishments. We can't give trophies and awards to the best because it hurts the self esteem of those that aren't as good. We can't even keep score anymore. We pick our leaders by how good they look or sound not by their moral character or their achievements. We let the media lose wars for us, decide what is important and don't force them to tell the truth.

This is not the America I grew up in. We were proud to be Americans, to wave the flag,to help our neighbors and expect children to be taught the morals and values we had been taught. Today, Progressives have turned the education system into leftist indoctrination centers, patriotism into jingoism, moral values into sexist, racist, intolerant, or outdated mythology and rule of law into rule of man. We understood that freedom came with responsibility, actions had consequences and words meant something. Now everything is relative. There is no real right and wrong because it all depends on the perspective of the individual. Everyone wants the freedom to do anything they want with no consequences, and they sure as heck don't want someone to tell them it is wrong.

No actually I believe Gongloff and nearly all progressives/liberals/socialists think government does a better job of providing for "the people" than private industry and business can. They view all business and industry as evil. They view them as predatory and abusive of their workers,much as the steel industry did in the early days with company stores and company owned housing. They actually think government distribution of wealth is more efficient, failing to understand that government produces nothing and any money they have to distribute comes from the citizenry. Progressivism is a mental disorder and a cancer that will destroy the host organ.

And anything you subsidize, you will get more of. Progressives just don't seem to get that. If you make poverty comfortable, then why try to rise out of it? Why work a minimum wage job if I can get the equivalent amount from Uncle Sam and get to sit on my fanny? Why take responsibility for the child I fathered if the government will keep my baby mamma up and feed and clothe the child?
