I would have thought by now that you would have been treated for being delusional about what part of the electorate supports your wacky ideas. Now it's been 5 out of 6 of the last Presidential races in which the Republican Party has failed to win a majority of votes, and you see something positive in this? Maybe David Brooks is right unless the party splits, there is no hope.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio is planning to vote against Chuck Hagel for Defense Secretary as the controversial nominee faces tough questions about his anti-Israel comments and lax policy positions on Iran.
