This is why the conservative movement is stalled. This individual doesn't understand politics. Or perhaps doesn't understand that we've been playing the game by two different sets of rules. The rules used by left are simple: Use everything for political purposes. Focus on advancing the agenda. Let the chips fall where they may relative to things like propriety or even truth. Look at how the left hammered at Bush constantly. Much of it was pure BS but all of it wore us down. But according to this nice person we have to play by different rules. No doubt these are the rules imposed on us by, you guessed it, the left. Why should we continue this losing strategy. If more facts are revealed, terrific. If all we get is a high profile hammering of the Democrat campaign machine, terrific. Sorry this is so simple for ya Debbie. It is long past time we ignored you.

This is interesting. Essentially Mr Buchanan engages in a bunch of pseudo strawman arguments. For any proposed action by the US and western Europe, Pat imagines a dreadful response. How convenient.

my bet is that you think there is no national interest in the Ukraine. Why else ask the question.
Hmmm, let's see. which party controlled congress in 2009? This is what the Democrats want for us. Is this what we ourselves actually want? Reagan got it right: if it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. If it stops moving, subsidize it. We have to repeal the government. It is the problem now. and no Mr. Howell, I am NOT if favor of regulating much of anything anymore. It hasn't worked and it is killing our economy. Further, who defines "common sense"?

so we pay a military to defend us against that happenstance. It is one of the few responsibilities assigned to the Federal government by the constitution that formed it. My preference is that the government discharge its responsibility for the common defence and stop wasting money elsewhere.

thank you for demonstrating your abyssal ignorance. Clearly you know nothing about the military. It must be nice to be so sure of oneselves. Why I doubt you even recognize when you've made a fool of yourself.
