If the Democrats succeed in taking this country down the path they want, we will just be another Cuba. Where is Lee Harvey Oswald when you need him.

I knew there were a lot of deranged, demented, people that voted for flap ears - You are a good example of those who did. Obviously you love it that he and his cohorts are destroying this country. Why don't you move to Cuba.

The friggin idiots that are trying to ram through all their socialist agenda, need to be impeached. They and their arrogant, haughty, nose in the air, leader, are in the process of bankrupting this country. And their supporters are all for it. I hope we still have a country and elections by November 2010.

We have not turned to, watched, surfed by any of the networks in at least a year and a half. We have removed the station listings on our remote. Of course, having just one household not watching, won't make a bit of difference to them. I just wish millions would quit watching.

All of my relatives are liberals/leftists and they don't even know it! My sister who I don't see often was here this weekend and we got into a discussion of obama. She has 'compassion for the poor' and thinks the government needs to do more for the poor. When my husband talked about liberals, she asked 'Am I a liberal?'. She was SO clueless about obama - she only hears the MSM side of this administration. I imagine this is common all over the country.

When MJ popped up in the news because of his death, it hit me, that he and Obama were so much alike. To me they are both repulsive, and they both have a cult following. How many of the people that voted for Obama had a clue what he is about and what he would do in office. I thought I knew what he wanted to do, and yet every day I learn more and more of how his plans will destroy this country.

With all the destructive laws, rules, plans, changes coming out of the White House, why does this man still have a 60% approval rating?

I was ready to rate this column a 5 until I read the last two paragraphs. Saying that Obama refuses to participate in the race baiting is a joke. Like others have mentioned, his cult members know what he thinks and he allows them to say what he wants said. He probably thinks he appears holy. What a jerk.

inthemajority - I don't know what you are in the majority of - but anyway, we lived in Canada and have lots of friends there. They wait months for MRI's, wait months for surgery. They can't schedule trips because they can't get surgery done and don't have any idea when it will be done. They find out a doctor they have had before or are familiar with has moved to the US and they can't get in with another Dr. They are retired and medical costs don't cost them much money. It does cost the tax payers though.
